(This talk will take place in LORIA, room A008.) Agricultural systems are becoming increasingly complex, making efficient resource use and sustainability essential. Data-driven agriculture leverages technology and data to optimise farming and agronomic practices, creating a need for advanced decision-support tools capable of handling complex analyses and supporting sensemaking. Visual analytics, which combines automated analysis with interactive visualisation, enhances understanding, reasoning, and decision-making. It supports pattern recognition, communication of results, and multi-criteria analysis, making it a powerful approach in digital agriculture. I will present my research, focusing on how visual analytics and human–computer interaction can help agronomists and agricultural researchers interpret complex models and simulations. My work seeks to balance automation with human intuition and expertise, ensuring decision-making that is both data-driven and user-centred.
