Knowledge Engineering in the age of GenerativeAI

In this talk, I will showcase examples of how generative AI is redefining key stages in knowledge engineering such as knowledge acquisition and validation, highlighting both its remarkable potential and current limitations. I will further present investigations of ways to combine human and AI components during knowledge engineering. Building on these examples, I will explore how we must rethink and adapt knowledge engineering methodologies in the era of Generative AI.
